That herbal therapy is useful in the treatment of cancer has been well documented in China. Various herbal therapies have been summarized and published in the medical literature. Unfortunately, it is almost completely unknown by people in North America, partly because it is in Chinese, and partly because people here, including our medical scientists, did not pay any attention to it (until now). We appear to dream that an anti-cancer therapy can only emerge from the laboratory, rather than exist in nature from history. 

Here in this brochure we will introduce, though briefly, some aspects of Chinese herbal therapy in the treatment of various cancers or carcinoma.

(1). Herbal therapy could increase the effect of surgical therapy

(2). Herbal therapy could be used to increase the effect of chemo therapy.

(3). Herbal therapy could be used to increase the effect of radiation therapy

(4). Herbal therapy could be used to release cancerous pain

(5). Herbal therapy is useful to release side effects of surgical, chemotherapy or radiation therapy:

Acupuncture is one part of whole Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is also very good for reducing side effects that are caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapies. It is useful to increase the function of the immune system and bone marrow, so to speed up the cancer healing and reduce the side effects due to conventional therapies.  

When should you consider the TCM therapies:

(1). When you are waiting to confirm cancer diagnosis. You cannot afford to let cancer cells grow in the body any longer. The delay in the treatment will increase problems later in recovery.

(2). When your chemotherapy or radiation therapy is stopped due to associated side effects.

Both therapies have mild to severe side effects. TCM therapies have been well proven to counteract such side effects as well as to increase immune function and boost your energy.

(3). When your doctor have already expressed that they would be able to help you any more with their conventional therapies. 

If there is no any hope from conventional medicine, what else you can do? Try the alternative ways, though it will also be a very tough task for these alternative therapies. But, if we do not lose hope, you still have hopes to recover!

Suggestion and recommendations from us:

(1). Always consider the TCM therapy with your conventional medicine therapies in the treatment of cancer. You have no more time to guess, to wait or to waste time for your life. It has been well known that the TCM will improve and help the chemotherapy, radiation therapy or surgical therapy in the treatment of cancer, rather do any bad to either of them.

(2). TCM therapy can treat the cancer by itself, as well as to correct the side effects due to conventional medicine, or due to the cancer per se.

(3). There are a lot of herbal formula that are used for the treatment of cancer, not only several of them. The herbs should be used based on TCM diagnosis for the body condition, for instance, if the patient condition belongs to Qi deficiency, Blood stagnation, Yang Qi deficiency, accumulation of phlegm, or others. It should not be understand that some herbs are specific for “cancer”, some others not. Many herbs, though not tested in lab to show prevention of cancer cell growth, can still be used to “treat” cancer for the reason that the herbs could restore the body’s own ability to fulfill normal immune monitoring and clearing function.

(4). The herbs used may be taken orally, or apply on the skin, depending on the nature of the cancer. For herbs needed to be taken orally, they can be raw herbs that you need to cook at home, or herb granule that you do not need to cook, or herb pills/tablets.

(5). TCM therapy in the treatment of cancer is pretty much as its treatment of other clinic conditions, such as severe virus infection, suppurative mass, benign tumor, cysts, polyposis, abscess or other neoplasm.

In our clinic, we have cancer patients who come to us when they are under chemotherapy or radiation therapy. The additional TCM therapies (Chinese herbs, acupuncture or moxibustion) helped them to have much less side effects due to the chemotherapy so that it helped to be able to finish the whole course of the chemotherapy.
